An overview on Klativa’s approach to consent and privacy with our Conversation Product

Here’s an overview on Klativa’s approach to consent and privacy with our Conversation Product

User is asked to explicitly provide consent through an online web form popup

Once a user clicks on the website more than 5 times, they are prompted to enter their details through a popup which contains a web form (see image below). This popup has the following fields: Name, Email & Phone Number. As part of the opt-in process, the user also has to explicitly agree to receive texts AND emails from humans (direct message communication) & also AI assistants (which may be deployed to help serve customers’ needs when no human is available). This process adheres to A2P DLC 10 guidelines by ensuring user interest through the requirement of multiple clicks before presenting the opt-in form, thus fostering genuine engagement. It upholds transparency and informed consent by clearly requesting personal details and explicit agreement to receive communications from both humans and AI assistants. Additionally, the user-initiated opt-in respects user autonomy and choice, aligning with the ethical principles of A2P DLC 10.

User must agree to terms and conditions which explicitly state how their data will be handled and used

Users are required to agree to clearly stated terms and conditions before their data is collected or used. These terms explicitly outline how personal data will be handled and utilized, ensuring transparency and informed consent. This mandatory agreement process aligns with data protection and privacy standards, safeguarding user rights and fostering trust by clearly communicating the use and management of their information.

User can opt out any time by sending STOP

Under this system, users are empowered with the flexibility to opt out of communications at any time, simply by sending the word 'STOP'. This straightforward opt-out process aligns with user-centric practices, ensuring that individuals maintain control over their communication preferences. By providing an easy and immediate way to cease communications, this approach is fully compliant with user consent and autonomy principles, respecting the user's right to disengage whenever they choose.
